Laurie Fawcett (b. 2001) was a pure-blood witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 2012 to 2019 and was sorted into Ravenclaw. She was part of the extracurricular "Gremlins". During her sixth year Laurie dated Ethan Humberstone.
Biography
Early life
Laurie was born unto a family of traditional pure-bloods in the world of magic, but that does not matter to Laurie about purity of blood as most others. Laurie is the niece of Semira and Sam Stebbins and the cousin of Albert, the son of the couple.
Hogwarts years
In 2012, Laurie boarded the Hogwarts Express for her first year of studying magic. During the Sorting ceremony, she was sorted by the Sorting Hat to be in Ravenclaw. At one point she, like many other students her age, joined the group Gremlins led by Ted Lupin for many years and then by Ethan Humberstone. She also believes Divination is a dull subject.
Sixth year
In her sixth year at Hogwarts, Laurie began a romantic relationship with Ethan Humberstone. In 2016, her cousin Albert Stebbins began to study at Hogwarts and was sorted into Hufflepuff, like his father, but Laurie seems to be a very close cousin for him. Laurie was present when Albus Potter, Scorpius Malfoy, Livius Black and Agamenon Lestrange were investigating the secret passage of the Whomping Willow and was almost injured when the tree was fanned by Artabanus Monomon, (under the control of Yaxley) to attack the group. Later she participated in the Invasion to the Professor Silvanus' room, along with Brenda Warton. They used fireworks from Weasley's Wizard Wheezes to block the passages of Hogwarts.
