Mary Jones was a witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1991 to 1998 and was the daughter of a pure-blood wizard and half-blood witch. She was a Gryffindor. She is the twin sister of Megan Jones , who was sorted into Hufflepuff. Mary's father was the brother of Gwenog Jones, Captain of the Hollyhead Harpies, and Mary was often visited by her aunt, who she liked.
Mary fought in the Battle of Hogwarts , protecting the Viaduct Entrance. Mary survived the battle, unlike her sister. Megan was killed by Leland Evans causing her family to mourn over her death.
