He had three sisters, each older than him: Florinda, Serafina, and Eugenie. The fourth sister, Lucinda, was a suspected Squib, and subsequently erased from most records from the House of Yaxley when he was an infant. He was significantly younger than his sisters and attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from September 1968 to June 1975. Corban Yaxley was Death Eater who fought during the First Wizarding War. Yaxley did not search for Voldemort after his first downfall, but this was forgiven after Voldemort's return in 1995. During the years of peace, Yaxley employee for the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and married fellow Slytherin Lisette Burke, which short because in 1976, she struggled against Devil’s Snare after teleporting via Floo Network to Hogwarts and walking into the Forbidden Forest resulting in her death. Then, Yaxley married a Zimbabwean-British pure-blood named Metella Evans. In 1977, they had their son Corvus, who would be known for being a Slytherin chaser from 1990 to 1993, when Graham Montague decided to play which gave Corvus the idea to quit next year and let Graham Montague play.

Yaxley also fought at several battles of the Second Wizarding War, such as the Battle of the Astronomy Tower. When Voldemort was in control of the Ministry of Magic, Yaxley became the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Yaxley went on to fight in the Battle of Hogwarts, where he was subdued by George Weasley and Lee Jordan. Biography[]

Early life[]

Corban Yaxley was born on December 7, 1956 in the family home in Suffolk, because the main house of the family in the Plumbers' Street was occupied by Tiberius Yaxley. He had a very difficult and lonely childhood. Third son of a couple in love is nothing, he was the son least liked by his father, Dionysus Yaxley. Until to complete eleven years to join Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Corban had to spend eleven hours a day studying with his father and for some years, with the brothers in the private library of Dionysus. Corban tried to show his father that was a good witch, a good magician who does not disappoint in anything you do and would love to follow his father's footsteps and become a Death Eater.

He had four sisters and one brother at the time of his birth, and they were all significantly older than him. The oldest, Florinda, was born on 24 June, 1950, and later became the wife of Marcelin Rosier, a member of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Rosier. Florinda was followed by Serafina, born 30 October, 1956, and by Eugenia, born 5 September, 1960. After then came Helius Yaxley, born of the 7 of September, 1963. Then came Lucinda, born on 13 August, 1965. She was, unfortunately, a Squib, and subsequently disowned and cast out into the muggle world at the age of ten. In his later life, Corban reportedly always regretted looking for her: it was rumoured that Lucinda was shuttered away to live in a muggle orphanage, but no one ever knew what became of her. The plot was largely hidden from Corban for most of his childhood, as this event occurred when he was still an infant.

Hogwarts years[]

A first year's view of Hogwarts Castle.

Corban Yaxley received his Hogwarts letter in the summer of 1968. Before attending, he purchased a wand made of poplar and dragon heartstring from Ollivander's Wand Shop in Diagon Alley. He then boarded the Hogwarts Express at King's Cross Station on 1 September, 1968, and was Sorted into Slytherin House later that night.

Corban grew up surrounded by other members of the Sacred Twenty-Eight, upon getting sorted into Slytherin. Others in his year and house included Walburga and Lucretia Black as well as Odella Burke, daughter of Cantankerous Burke, who he later married.

Most interestingly, Corban was two years ahead of the notorious Dark Lord Voldemort, or as he was known in those days, Tom Riddle, as well as his earliest accomplices, Cyrus Lestrange and Rolph Avery.

During his years at Hogwarts, Corban nurtured a friendship by Tarquin McTavish, Slytherin classmate a year older, and also had a secret admiration for Lucius Malfoy and the Black sisters, Bellatrix and Narcissa, who were of the same year that Tarquin. Corban, meanwhile was the greatest rival of Sturgis Podmore, Gryffindor, which was always his great competitor in everything he did. Like his father, Corban Yaxley was a brilliant student at Hogwarts. He obtained a prize and a bonus of many points to Slytherin for having managed to create a potion to counteract the measles outbreak that swept the school in 1972 and contaminate one hundred twenty-six students. In his fifth year at Hogwarts Yaxley assumed the position of Malfoy as a prefect, since Lucius had become Head Boy, and in her spare time, the greatest hobby Yaxley was to take points from Gryffindor and put the Marauders, Prongs, Padfoot, Moony and Wormtail in detention. In his seventh and final year. Corban became Head Boy and landed a job as Beater in the Slytherin Quidditch team, but has not won the Quidditch Cup. He left Hogwarts with nine O.W.L.s and nine N.E.W.T.s.

Employment[]

When finished Hogwarts, Yaxley aspired to be part of the Headquarters of the Aurors, but failed to pass the first tests to advance your career, then had to use all his knowledge in Potions and settle for a post in the Department of Intoxicating Substances, a subdivision Department of Law Enforcement Magic (which in future Yaxley become head ). Within the ministry, Yaxley, on its own, won the prestigious showcase their talents in Potions and Spells to end and pest infestations. During his youth, as was to join the followers of Lord Voldemort, Corban Yaxley married three. One with his department head Gillian Fairman, who was seven years older than him and that yielded a promotion, and later with Portia Macnair, niece of the Executioner Walden Macnair. Two out of four marriages ended in divorce but the result of the third marriage was that Lisette struggled against Devil’s Snare without Yaxley knowing until hearing about that which resulted in him marrying a White Zimbabwean witch named Metella Evans.

Department of Magical Law Enforcement[]

Corban began his work at the Ministry of Magic in 1983, just a few years before the Dark Lord's rise power reached its largest height. He began his work as a trainee and later rose up the ranks and, in 1976, Yaxley married Lisette Burke, the daughter of Cantankerous Burke, the owner of a well-known Dark Arts establishment in Knockturn Alley, but she struggled against Devil’s Snare alone in January 1977 and then Yaxley married Metella Evans, the aunt of Leland Evans, the animagus of the Hogwarts third floor corridor’s three headed dog Fluffy, and then they would have their son Corvus who was born on November 7, 1977. He attended frequent meetings with his other, death eater aspiring friends, who planned to join the Death Eaters when Lord Voldemort declared all out-war.

First Wizarding War (1970-1981)[]

Corban Yaxley was one of the many Death Eaters who fought in the First Wizarding War. He was captured on 27 August, 1981, after he murdered Otto Cattermole, a well-respected Auror, and managed to just avoid imprisonment by pleading the Imperius Curse. Like many others, Yaxley believed Voldemort had been finished and, thus, did not attempt to find him after his downfall.

Second Wizarding War[]

Yaxley returned to Voldemort after his rebirth. Yaxley became, once more, an active Death Eater during the Second Wizarding War. On 27 June, 1995, three nights following Voldemort's return, Yaxley arrived at Slughorn's house under cover of dark, intending to recruit him or take him by force to Voldemort. Transfiguring himself into an armchair, Slughorn successfully evaded the Death Eater's detection. A few days later, Slughorn locked up his house and went on the run, often squatting in Muggle dwellings while the owners were away, where he felt undetectable. In the winter (late 1995 or early 1996), he put a dark mark on his nephew Leland’s wrist as well as Azerbaijani wizard Yusif Jafarov’s wrist, making him a full member and accepting him in the ranks. Then, he casted an unbreakable vow on his nephew and Bellatrix Lestrange which will mean that Leland will fight for the Death Eaters In July, 1996, Yaxley participated in the kidnapping of Garrick Ollivander alongside Fenrir Greyback and another Death Eater (possibly Leland Evans). He also participated in the destruction of the Millennium Bridge.

Battle of Hogwarts[]

Yaxley: "Definitely heard something. Animal, d'you reckon?"
Dolohov: "That head case Hagrid kept a whole bunch of stuff in here… Time's nearly up. Potter's had his hour. He's not coming."
Yaxley: "Better go back. Find out what the plan is now…"
— Yaxley and Dolohov guarding the Forbidden Forest.
Mylorspell

Mylor Silvanus' shot.

In 2 May, 1998, Yaxley participated in the Battle of Hogwarts. First, Yaxley fought against Professor Filius Flitwick from the moment they realized it could not win the duel he called Jugson and Thorfinn Rowle to replace him. Moments later he found the students: Colin Creevey, Mylor Silvanus and Jimmy Peakes at the gates of the Owlery calling to the aurors of the ministry for came to the battle and fighting with his nephew Leland after he heard Leland’s voice from up in the tower. Already angry and disgust of the boys for trying to put his hand in his nephew’s pocket and touching him repeatedly (especially Colin for being a Muggle-born), he murdered Creevey after he warned Creevey not to touch Leland again after Colin shot a spell at Leland which was after Leland called Creevey a mud-blood and fought with Colin, Mylor, and Jimmy, and then Yaxley dueled with Mylor. Then, Leland murdered Flora Carrow with Avada Kedavra after after he saw her duelling with Hestia Carrow and had a distrust on her for betraying him and her sister and then Leland injured Mary Jones’ arm and then Leland murdered Megan Jones with Avada Kedavra after she shot a spell at him for breaking Mary Jones’ arm. It is unknown as was the duel between Yaxley and Mylor, but we know that Yaxley had been attacked with a powerful gold spell. He and Antonin Dolohov stood guard in the Forbidden Forest during the brief interlude that followed Voldemort's ultimatum to Harry Potter. They were followed back to the Death Eater camp by Harry under his Invisibility Cloak. During the final moments of the battle, Yaxley was defeated by Lee Jordan and George Weasley but after Leland completed his final year at Hogwarts, he was arrested in Russia and extradited to the UK on a warrant on July 8 1999, and then he got convicted and sent to Azkaban.

Later Life[]

Yaxley: "I know you've always wished it was Lucius Malfoy who preside over this table. But like me, Lucius did not believe again that the Dark Lord was defeated. I did not make the same mistake in every effort to make it reappear again. Lucius disappeared in the world after his wife and son tagged him as psychotic and failed to support their ideas conquerors. I do not believe he is alive. And unlike you, Serena, I will not lift a finger to find it .."
—Yaxley arguing with Serena Tyranicus during the last meeting of the Serpent Society.

After the Battle of Hogwarts, Yaxley managed to escape and return home to his parents, where almost single-handedly founded the Serpent Society, a secret organization that aims to find ways of magic to resurrect the Dark Lord. Few people get a job as directors of the society, few are known Serena Tyranicus, Acrustus Undewood, Malcolm Baddock, Rubus Wilfruss and Plochos de Floumatass. Yaxley came up with a plan for Malcolm to infiltrate Hogwarts as Muggle Arts teacher to lure Albus Potter to him and get closer to Mylor Silvanus, to learn more about Albriech Ambratorix. Unfortunately, Baddock was not efficient and just being murdered in an ambush by Yaxley, which also attract Albus, Scorpius Malfoy and Hagrid.

That same day, Yaxley subdued Artabanus Monomon his Imperius Curse, and starting to give him the controls them Albus Potter that brought to the Ambratorix's grotto. The following year, Yaxley had the opportunity to have Potter in the cave where Mylor Silvanus had managed to win in a duel, which had nearly killed by being beaten, and finally, Albus forced him to open the Eye of the Worlds. However, Albus could never recussitar Voldemort to the living world with the aid of the Eye, and soon after knowing it, he had lost the duel against the boy, which ended when a curse from Serena was deflected towards him, stricking him in the heart with a fatal cutting curse which ended his life.

Post-Mortem[]

Corban Yaxley's body was taken to a separate chamber where it laid with other fallen Death Eaters, as well as the body of the Dark Lord Voldemort. It was formally identified by Yaxley's wife, Metella, and a funeral was held in Upton Noble. Yaxley's son, Corvus, formally denounced his father's actions in the year 2000 alongside his cousins Julia Evans, Leland Evans who has just been released after reporting an inmate being poisoned in Azkaban resulting in one of the guards being fired, Abby Evans, and Andrew Evans, though it was rumoured that the entire Yaxley family and the related families participated in some way or other.

Behind the scenes[]

  • Corban Yaxley is, like Severus Snape, the Death Eater able to conjure a Patronus Charm. This is due to the fact Yaxley have in their hearts during the nights spent daydreaming and crying for the lack of affection from his father, turned all her achievements, promotions and honors on good memories. He kept them, and softened his body harbored them, until when he tried to cast his patron, had used these memories and formed a patron body that takes the form of a bat.
  • Corban Yaxley and his nephew Leland Evans both have things in common and they both dislike muggles and muggle-borns.
