Amanda Brooks was a witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She was sorted in Ravenclaw in 1991 with Professor Filius Flitwick, the Charms Master, as her Head of House. During her first flying lesson, she was personally greeted by her flying teacher, Madam Rolanda Hooch, for unknown reasons. She was able to learn how to fly during her first and second year in Hogwarts.
During her seventh year in Hogwarts, Amanda participated in the Battle of Hogwarts where she flew alongside Oliver Wood to defend Hogwarts. It is possible that she served in Dumbledore's Army since she learned a lot of spells. Amanda survived the battle.
